Straight Down DESIGN
In 2018, I was hired on to the design department to focus on bringing new ideas, vendors and categories for the men’s and women’s collections. Starting out I had little experience in golf. Leaning on my design and research strengths I was able to quickly recognized the market, product and brand needs. When I started, men’s outerwear was Straight Down’s #1 revenue source for wholesale. I built upon outerwear’s success and at the same time I increased polo sales to #1 through new fit, fabrication, color and prints. The women’s collection was uniquely item driven. I was able to add many core styles to the collection. I am a creative designer that roots myself in sales analytics and market research for designing new concepts.
